REVIEW: DEJAVU FIBERWIG LASTING FINE EYELINER

Apart from cute packaging, the Japanese definitely know their stuff. That's right! another Japanese product review :)

What will I be reviewing today?
Dejavu  Fiberwig Lasting fine eyeliner!

Eyeliners are an essentials for me. I always wanted something very intense, smudge proof and stays on all day and this one works for me, in fact it works so well for me that I might not even get any other eyeliners for awhile. that is how much I love this thing.

It is different than other Japanese eyeliners (in terms of packaging) than the ones I normally see (as far as Japanese eyeliner go) , just a standard retractable eyeliner. However, when I was reading the reviews from other people, they find it very hard to apply...they had to tug and I was quite surprise because I thought it glided nicely. lol

Apart from that, we all cannot deny that is product is most definitely smudge proof. It works well for tight lining and for the water line too, if you're going for an intense dramatic look :)

For more info. please check out sasa.com.

If I am not mistaken it comes in 3 different colors, brown, black and a more intense black. I had the intense black :) aiming for the brown one next!

FASHION TRENDS I LOVE: OXFORD WEDGES

Generally I do not follow any kind of fashion trends, I just wear what I like and I am currently obsessed with OXFORD WEDGES!

I think they’re super cute and very chic but I have to admit there is something very masculine about them. Lol

Aren’t they pretty? J

I bought a pair myself and I love them so much! <3

And they are oddly comfortable, especially for a pair of wedges that doesn’t have a hidden platform or and kinds of platforms, really. Bought them at Charles & keith, Gadong for BND53.90. Originally, I wanted to buy the brown ones but they were sold out, so I had to settle with a black one but love it nonetheless J

REVIEW: NYX ROUND LIPSTICK

Honestly, I did not have a high expectation for this product but it blew me away with the creamy consistency, vibrant colors (not to mention the huge color selections!) and cute packaging!

Now, if you're from Brunei and you're interested in trying these babies out, feel free to check on azbeautysecret shop on Facebook! she is carrying a huge selections of NYX cosmetics.

Currently I have 7 different shades of NYX round lipsticks. I had mine since last year and I couldn't rave enough how much I love them! If you new to cosmetics and you don't feel like splurging on expensive lipsticks then this might be a good time to try these, they are only $8!!! Total bargain, huh?

Why I love em?

The consistency! The consistency! The consistency! It just glides through your lips! Soft and creamy! Apart from that, the staying power is ok not excellent but ok. I am not the type of person who minds reapplying their lipstick through out the day.

The cons?

The packaging is cute but it's a like... Cheapy, the bottom can easily fall off but hey what do you expect from an $8 lipstick? :p

Which shades do I have?
Doll
Brown sweet
Black cherry
B52
Heather
peach
Summer Love

Favorites?
B52 for everyday and doll for special occasions

Closing comments:

Highly recommended! Especially to those who are thinking of expending their lipstick collections without break the bank! Two thumbs up for the huge color selections! And I will definitely but more of these :)

REVIEW: V10+SERUM

There is something about Japanese skin care product that is just so amazingly good and the v10+ serum is not an exception. There is no other word to describe this product but…phenomenal, it is truly a miracle in a bottle, not only that…but it works! I-kidd-you-not!

What other great things I can say about V10+ serum? Well…..

1.    It is paraben free
2.    No artificial color
3.    No mineral oils
4.    No chemical fragrances
5.    Customized serums for 10 skin problems
6.    Dermatological tested

      The down side?

It is ridiculously expensive. This thing is only 30ml and it retails for BND138.00/bottle!!!!  There is a 10% discount for members therefore, BND124.20/bottle. From my experiences (I went through 5 bottles of these) this thing can only last you a month. Yes, a month but you can stretch it out to 2 months max. IF you use it 2-3 times a week! Instruction says to use everyday morning and night, which I do not recommend just because it is extremely expensive for a 30ml serum.

However, if you are looking for a serum that works and that won’t disappoint you than I highly highly recommend this product despite its price tag.

Where can you get this precious little thing?

Ageless Beauty
Unit 5, 1st floor, block A
Kampong Batu Bersurat, Pengkalan Gadong, BSB
Bandar Seri Begawan
(Right across Elken, above the computer shop)
WARNING: parking can be difficult! :p

A brochure of the v10+ serum :)

If you don’t know which serum would suit you, I suggest you should let one of the beauticians (or you can ask for Mimi) to have good look at your skin and they can recommend the best serum for you! J

Which v10+ serum I am currently using?
·         Vitamin C
·         Licorice
·         Ceramide (recommended to me but yet to try)

Battle of cleansing creams! Faceshop’s Green tea Herb Day VS. Brightening Rice Water

I am a die hard fan of Faceshop, so I decided to make a comparison between the green tea herb day cleansing cream and brightening rice water cleansing cream. For those who are not familiar with Faceshop, it is originated from Korea and a well known brand in Asia, I am not particularly sure if you can find it outside of Asia but you can check!

First, I want to point out the similarities for both cleansing creams and that is the consistency, I find it light, smooth and very creamy. I wouldn’t expect any differences as it does originate from the same brand. lol

As far as smell goes, in my opinion the rice water smells better however it can be a little overwhelming sometimes. The green tea one smells just as good.
Ok so here’s the break down….

Green Tea
1.    I did not experience any break outs from this product
2.    Leave my face feeling clean and amazing
3.    Removes make up beautifully, even the water proof ones
4.    Soothes my skin

Brightening Rice water
1.    I did break me out L and irritates my skin
2.    Removes make up beautifully, even the water proof ones
3.    Dries out my skin

In general, I do find the Green tea one works better with my skin type. In case you’re wondering I have acne prone and very sensitive skin.  If you have a similar skin type then the green tea one might suit you better J FYI, I use this to remove my make up!
Price: both retail for under BND20.00 ( I can’t remember the exact price)
Brightening rice water: 200 ml/6.76 fl. Oz
Green tea Herb day: 150ml/5.06 fl. Oz

Left: brightening rice water. Right: Herbs days, green tea

Herbs day, green tea
I completely used up my brightening rice water, so i don't actually have anything to show you. lol sorry! I but hope you enjoyed my first post! :)
